Fire at Crumlin Road Court House Belfast

A fire has been sparked at the Crumlin Road Court House in Belfast.

Firefighters were called to the scene of the fire at around 9.14pm on Monday night.

Police were called to the area which was handled by the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

A NIFRS spokesman said the fire is being treated as deliberate.

He said: "One Fire Appliance from Westland Fire Station and one Fire Appliance from Whitla Fire Station were deployed to the scene of a small quantity of rubbish alight on the first floor of a derelict premises in the area.

“The incident finished at 10:24pm and the incident is being treated as a deliberate fire. The incident has now been passed through to the Police Service of Northern Ireland.”
