Firefighters cut men free from car following crash on M1

Two men have been cut out of their car by fire fighters following a one vehicle crash on the M1 near Portadown.

Emergency services attended the crash on at the Birches Roundabout at junction 12.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service was called to the scene at around 11.30am on Tuesday where the vehicle had collided with a bollard.

Two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene.

The Northern Ireland Fire Service used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the men and they were taken away by ambulance.

The condition of the men is not known at this stage.
