Emergency services are dealing with an underground cable fire in the docks area of Belfast.

A Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said three appliances were dispatched to the scene on Ship Street shortly before 2.30pm.

Gas readings have been taken, which are all zero, and Northern Ireland Electricity personnel are also in attendance.

The traffic lights nearby at the junction of Dock Street and Garmoyle Street, and Dock Street and Nelson Street, have been affected and are currently out.
