Firefighters dealing with ongoing Sainsbury’s blaze in Derry

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service are currently in attendance at a blaze on the Strand Road in Derry.

It is understood the fire is at a Sainsbury’s supermarket store.

In a statement, an NIFRS spokesperson said two fire appliances from Northland Fire Station are in attendance.

“Firefighters are currently in attendance at a fire at a commercial premises. The incident is ongoing,” the spokesperson added.
