Two fishermen have been rescued after they got into troublewhen their boat suffered engine failure off the coast.
The Portaferry RNLI lifeboat was called out after the vessel developed trouble near Ardglass yesterday morning.
The volunteer crew launched the lifeboat at 11.40am.
An RNLI spokesman said:
"At the time sea conditions were calm and the weather was partly cloudy with a slight breeze. The lifeboat crew arrived on scene 20 minutes later and gave assistance by towing the 10-metre fishing boat and her two-man crew back safely to Ardglass Harbour."
