Five men arrested following Portadown burglary

Five men have been arrested following a burglary in Portadown.

The men, two of them aged 18 years old, a 19-year-old, a 30-year-old and a 33-year-old, were arrested in relation to a burglary in the Kernan Avenue area of Portadown on Wednesday.

They were arrested after a black Saab car made off from police on the Belfast Road, Newry around 9.35am on Thursday. Officers on patrol in Tandragee stopped the car on Ballymore Road at 10.14am

The men are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
