Five people involved in serious Co Antrim road crash: One man arrested on suspicion of motoring offences

Five people have been injured, including one woman who is in a serious condition, following a road crash in Co Antrim.

And a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a number of motoring offences and subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The car crash happened on the Ballybogy Road in Ballymoney close to its junction with Oldtown Road shortly after 5am this morning.

It involved one car.

Five people, three men and two women, were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries.

One of the women is described as being in a serious condition.
