Flybe cancels all early morning flights from Belfast City Airport as Storm Callum closes in on Northern Ireland

Flybe has cancelled all flights departing from Belfast City Airport early Friday morning due to high winds forecast from Storm Callum.

Only flights operating between 6am to 9.30am have been cancelled, apart from flight BE731 to Leeds Bradford and BE680 to Edinburgh which have been delayed until later that day.

Flybe has said all customers affected by the cancellations should not travel to the airport.

A Flybe spokesperson said: "The safety of its passengers and crew is our number one priority and Flybe will, as always, do everything possible to minimise any disruption."

Customers are asked to continue to check the airline's live flight information for the latest updates on its website.

Affected customers can rebook to travel on an alternative flight or ask for a refund for any part(s) of their journey not taken.
