Four arrested after teen abducted in Ballycastle and money demanded for his return

Four people have been arrested following the reported abduction of a man in Ballycastle.

The 18-year-old victim is believed to have been snatched yesterday and a demand for money was made.

The teenager later made his way to a police station in Belfast. No money was handed over.

Police stopped a car on the outskirts of Antrim last night and arrested three women, aged 16, 18 and 42, and a 21-year-old man.

They are being questioned at the Serious Crime Suite in Antrim police station.
