Fun run in aid of Haiti

Local runners and walkers will be taking part in a five kilometre fun run to raise money for the Haiti earthquake fund.

Taking place on Sunday, January 31, the run will be starting at Ormeau Park at 11am.

Organised in conjunction with ‘Belfast 4 Haiti’, all proceeds will go to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).

One of the organisers, Austin Tanney, said: “We want everyone to come down and walk or run.

“You don’t have to be an athlete to take part.”
