Funeral details of murder victim Paul Smyth announced

The funeral of murder victim Paul Smyth will take place on Saturday in Lisburn.

The 50-year-old was found shot dead in the living room of his Coulson Avenue home last Friday.

Mr Smyth's funeral will take place on Saturday at 9.20am at Ronnie Thompson's Funeral Church, 20 Ballinderry Road.

A Requiem Mass will be held at St Patrick's Church, Chapel Hill at 10am followed by interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

A funeral notice read: "Will be loved and remembered always by his sorrowing sister, brother-in-law Thomas (Valliday), nephews and niece Ryan, Sarah, Stephen, Darren and families. St. Anthony pray for him."

James Holmes, from Lawmount Crescent in Lisburn and James McVeigh, from Ward Avenue in Lisburn, are jointly charged with his murder and have both been remanded in custody.
