The funeral of Newtownabbey boy Carter Carson has taken place two weeks after he was struck by a car while on holiday in Tenerife.

Carter died from his injuries in the hit and run at the Gran Sur Shopping centre in Adeje.

He was with dad Stuart and his partner Clair on the Spanish holiday island when the incident happened.

One man has been charged in connection to the young boy's death.

Friends and family attended Abbots Cross Congregational Church in Newtownabbey.
