The funeral of Belfast Telegraph legend Eddie McIlwaine has taken place in Co Antrim.
The service took place at St Catherine's Church in Crumlin on Saturday.
Eddie, who was 83, passed away earlier this week at his home in Antrim surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle against cancer.
Eddie worked for a number of publications during a 60-year career in journalism but was best known for his many years spent at the Belfast Telegraph.
He kept writing a column in the Belfast Telegraph until December 2017.
Through his work he met many of the biggest stars in the world- including Cliff Richard, Garth Brooks, Neil Diamond and Belfast's own Ruby Murray.
Many friends and colleagues attended his funeral, including John Lenaghan (May McFetrdige).
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Irene. The couple met in February 1977 and married in August that year.
