Funeral takes place for Northern Ireland fan Robert 'Archie' Rainey who died at Euro 2016 match

The funeral has taken place of a Northern Ireland fan who died during the team's Euro 2016 fixture in Lyon.

Medics among the Northern Ireland fans raced to help 64-year-old Robert "Archie" Rainey after he collapsed in the stadium at the Ukraine match.

However Mr Rainey could not be resusciated.

At the time the family released a statement to thank the public for their support.

A family statement said: "We would like to thank everyone for the huge support and kind messages that we have received since dad died in France.

"It has been a great comfort to us all in this very difficult time."

The Northern Ireland team wore black armbands in his memory at their game against Germany and during the 64th minute fans chanted Archie.

A friend of the Rainey family set up a crowd funding page to raise money to help the family.
