Funeral to take place of tragic Belfast teenager Shauneen Irvine
The funeral of Belfast teenager Shauneen Irvine will take place on Monday.
Shauneen (19) was found dead by her grandmother in a property at New Barnsley Park in the west of the city on Monday.
After the discovery police said they were investigating the circumstances of her death and would carry out a post-mortem in due course.
Her funeral mass will take place at the Church of the Annunciation at 12pm before moving on to Roselawn Cemetery.
"Deeply regretted by her sorrowing father, brothers, sister and entire family circle," a family death notice read.
The young woman's mother, Lindsey Irvine, also died suddenly this year, on March 15.
Fr Patrick McCafferty from the Corpus Christi Parish said earlier this week that Shauneen's death was another blow to he family.
"I buried her mother Lindsey in March, who died suddenly and tragically as well," he said.
"Shauneen is only 19, so the family now have to deal with that too.
"I was called to the home this morning after her grandmother found her body.
"The only thing I can possibly say about this is that it's absolutely heartbreaking."
Shauneen is survived by her dad Paul, brothers Ryan and Daniel and sister Joedi.
