GAA honours Ulster-Scots links
The GAA has announced details of a ground-breaking event to celebrate its links to Ulster-Scots culture.
The Hooley at Navan traditional night, which will take place on Friday at 8pm in the Navan Centre in Armagh, is being billed as a “very special cultural event” to showcase performers from both traditions. Led by Armagh GAA’s cultural committee, the aim of the event is to embrace “the two differing cultures and music traditions”.
Chairman of Armagh County Board, Paul Duggan, said: “We are very proud to host this special cultural event.”
Admission is £5 and can be paid on the door.
