Game of Thrones Dark Hedges trees damaged in Storm Hector
Trees featured in the TV drama Game of Thrones have been damaged during Storm Hector.
Northern Ireland was battered by gales of up to 60mph overnight on Wednesday which continued into Thursday.
Several trees at the Dark Hedges on the Bregagh Road near Armoy lost branches during the storm.
The site has become a major tourist attraction after featuring in the popular Game of Thrones series.
Much of the HBO show is shot in Northern Ireland, either on location or in studios in Belfast.
The beech trees were planted in the 18th century by a local family, the Stuarts, with the intent of creating a grand entrance to their nearby Georgian mansion, Gracehill House.
It is one of the most photographed natural landmarks on the island of Ireland.
