Girl badly injured in road crash

A 16-year-old girl is in a serious condition in hospital after a road crash in Co Down.

The accident involving one vehicle happened on the Magheraknock Road, Ballynahinch at about 8.15am today.

The male driver of the grey MG ZR was also hurt but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening

Inspector John McClurg from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
