By Allan Preston

A Belfast grandmother found dead after going missing for two weeks will be laid to rest tomorrow.

Karen Lane (51) was found by police last Sunday just hours after her family had issued an appeal for help finding her.

A Requiem Mass takes place at St Matthew's Church on Bryson Street tomorrow at 9am, with committal at Roselawn Cemetery at 11am.

Ms Lane had left Northern Ireland aged 10 to live in South Africa, returning six years ago.

Before her death, she was last seen on the morning of October 23 on Templemore Avenue in east Belfast.

Her daughter Tanith Mozez (29) said her mother had been diagnosed with a terminal lung condition and had been struggling with mental illness as well as alcohol addiction in recent years.
