Harp-playing hopeful Anna McLuckie missed out on a place in The Voice's live stages as the BBC1 show's coaches assembled the singers who will go forward to the quarter-finals.
Ricky Wilson and Will.i.am last night finalised the acts they will take through, on top of the artists chosen by Kylie Minogue and Sir Tom Jones, leaving 12 hopefuls to battle on when the first live heat is staged next weekend.
Scottish singer McLuckie had been strongly fancied to go further with her soaring voice, and her blind audition has proved a popular draw on YouTube with more than four million hits.
She had opted to go with Will's team after the auditions, despite strong interest from Kaiser Chiefs frontman Wilson to join his squad, but the Black Eyed Peas star decided to let her go as he finalised his trio.
Wilson also had agonising decisions to make as he mulled over whether to keep Jazz Bates Chambers, but he opted instead to retain Emily Adams after his coaching colleague Minogue advised he should follow his heart.
For this weekend's knockout stage of the contest the coaches had to slim down their teams from seven contestants to three for the live quarter-finals.
Here are the 12 singers who have made it through to the first live show on March 22.
