'Heartbreak' after body of missing Donal McGoldrick found in Belfast

Police have confirmed that the body of a missing Belfast man was discovered on Wednesday evening.

Donal McGoldrick had gone missing on Easter Monday.

The 35-year-old's body was found in the Colin Glen area of west Belfast.

A spokesperson for the New Colin/Lenadoon Residents Collective said that the discovery was "heartbreaking news".

"On behalf of the community I'd like to offer my deepest and sincere condolences to Donal's family at this sad time," the spokesperson said.

A PSNI spokesperson said that the death was not being treated as suspicious.

"A post mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of death," the spokesperson said.
