'Heartbreak' as body of missing Belfast man found

The body of a missing Belfast man was discovered on Wednesday evening, police have confirmed.

Donal McGoldrick  had gone missing on Easter Monday.

The 35-year-old's remains were found in the Colin Glen area of west Belfast.

A spokesperson for the New Colin/Lenadoon Residents Collective said it was "heartbreaking news".

"On behalf of the community I'd like to offer my deepest and sincere condolences to Donal's family at this sad time," they said.

The PSNI said Mr McGoldrick's death is not being treated as suspicious.

"A post-mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of death," the police added.
