Home searched in Raymond Johnston murder probe

Police have carried out a search of a home on the outskirts of west Belfast in connection with the murder of Raymond Johnston

Officers descended on a home in Brians Well Grove in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Nothing was found during the search, a police spokesman said.

Mr Johnston was shot in the chest in front of his partner and an 11-year-old girl in a house in Glenbawn Avenue in Poleglass on Tuesday, February 13.

A number of men have been arrested by police, but all were released unconditionally.

Police said they believe dissident republicans may have been involved.
