An exciting hunt chase was hosted at Carnlough Beach yesterday, treating spectators to thrills and spills.
The Dalriada Festival Hunt Chase took over the popular seaside spot yesterday morning as competitors raced for victory.
A course was erected which required horses to jump over obstacles such as hurdles and fences.
It included a short route into the shallow waters of the sea and then back along the sandy beach.
The event was part of the Dalriada Festival, which is billed as Northern Ireland's largest cultural and heritage festival and runs until Saturday.
