House attacked by petrol bombers in Coleraine

Three people have escaped injury after a home in Coleraine came under attack from petrol bombers.

Detectives in the Co Londonderry town are appealing for information after the house in the Cypress Drive area was targeted shortly after 11.10pm on Tuesday.

Police received reports that a petrol bomb was thrown through the kitchen window of the house, causing scorch damage.

A police spokesman said three females were in the house at the time but were not injured. “Inquiries are continuing,” he added.
