Housing market is improving
House prices in east Belfast remain the second highest across the city, new figures by the University of Ulster Quarterly House Price Index have revealed.
Across Belfast house prices fell by 7.8 percent, with the average price of a property in east Belfast now £175,786.
The average price of a terraced/townhouse now stands at £143,945, a semi-detached house is now priced at £186,665, detached houses are at £283,556, while the average apartment is now priced at £116,114.
Generally the housing market showed signs of improvement, with the number of house sales at their highest for the past two years.
