Hundreds sample Feast of Tabernacles at Ulster Hall

By Cate McCurry

Hundreds of people sampled a taste of the Feast of Tabernacles at Belfast's Ulster Hall yesterday.

Music, dance, colour and praise was at the centre of celebrations for those attending.

For the past 35 years thousands of Christians from more than 100 nations have gone to Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, organised by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem.

The Taste of Tabernacles gives a flavour of this colourful and lively celebration without going all the way to the Holy Land. The guest speaker of the night was Malcolm Hedding, a former director of International Christian Embassy Jerusalem and associate pastor of World Outreach Church Murfreesboro, Florida.

Also featured was the Shalom Dance Team and the Tabernacles Praise and Worship Band, as well as world famous violinist, Serguei Popov.
