Hunt for driver after mother and child (8) hurt in Belfast hit-and-run
A mother and her eight-year-old daughter were hurt in a hit and run in Belfast.
It happened at the pelican crossing at the junction of Newtownards Road and Belvoir Street at around 8pm on Wednesday.
Police said their injuries were not life threatening.
Paramedics were on the scene within minutes and spend over an hour at the scene with two ambulances called to transport the mother and child to hospital.
"Only details known are that a small black vehicle was involved and failed to stop," police said.
