In my day: We quiz Lisa McCabe on the time of her life

Q: What was your decade?

A: I grew up in the late 80s and 90s

Q: What was life like?

A: I had a very average life growing up... I loved art and still do so I spend all my time reading fashion/art books and drawing or sketching.

Q: What were you listening to?

A: My dad has always been very into his music so I would have always listened to his music such as The Beatles, Elvis, Tina Turner etc and still do. Apart from that I was a rock chick growing up and listened to the likes of Nirvana, U2, Guns n Roses, Radiohead and Red Hot Chili Peppers...

Q: And the style?

A: I would have to say my fashion style would have been preppy mixed with grunge.

Q: What has changed?

A: Everything. I think gradually people are getting more and more lazy.

Q: What was better back then?

A: I loved 90s fashion trends such as knee high socks, combat boots, baby doll dresses, pretty clips in your hair and jellie shoes (obviously not together).
