In My Day: We quiz Sandra O'Hara on the time of her life

Q. What was your decade?

A. I'd have to say the 00s. I had a great social life, travelled lots and went to some great festivals. I met the love of my life George, now my husband.

Q. What was life like back then?

A. I went to lots of clubs, Shine most weekends (back when it was weekly!) I spent lots of time with friends and family.

Q. What were you listening to?

A. I loved dance music: Jacques Le Cont and 2ManyDJs were big favourites. Girls Aloud were a bit of a guilty pleasure, I've seen them every time they toured in Northern Ireland!

Q. And the style?

A. Awful! I was a New Rave nightmare. Neon, graphic prints and shell suit jackets. Those days are behind me.

Q. What has changed since then?

A. I married my best friend George in a remote part of the South of France, we've both graduated with First Class Honours, I've launched my own bridal accessories business Blue Meadow Bridal and we have a little Shih Tzu called Fidel.

Q. What was better back then?

A The free time to socialise and see friends and family. My brother and I did everything together but now he lives in Manchester, I miss that most.

Sandra has founded Blue Meadow Bridal, creating luxury bridal headpieces.
