More than 1,000 people took part in the annual Mud Madness race to raise money for charity.

The competitors raised up to £10,000 at the McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes race in Foymore Lodge, Portadown.

Runners came from all over Northern Ireland as well as the Republic of Ireland, England, Scotland, Germany and the US to compete in the wacky race which saw participants battle their way across four and half miles of bogs, ponds, under cargo nets and foxholes and over tyre pits all in aid of charity partner Marie Curie Cancer Care.
