Police are investigating a possible drugs link over the sudden death of a teenager in Belfast.

The 19-year-old woman was taken to hospital from a house in Ravenhill Avenue by paramedics on Wednesday afternoon, but the young woman died later that evening.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a drugs offence.

A PSNI spokesman said:

"Police will now await the results of post mortem, toxicology and any other tests."
