Irish Open 2015: Translink puts on buses for fans

Special Translink bus services will be introduced for the Irish Open.

Coaches will operate from towns and cities across the province while there will be a free park and ride service in host town Newcastle, Co Down.

Thousands of fans are expected to head to the 2015 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open hosted by the Rory Foundation at Royal County Down Golf Club and featuring local star Rory McIlroy.

Enhanced bus services will run every half-hour between Belfast's Europa bus centre and Newcastle at peak times from May 26-31. Boosted services will also travel from Newry to Newcastle.
