Is your teacher ‘green’?

Bloomfield Primary School children will be hoping their teacher Mrs Hetherington will go one better than last year’s runners up position in the Belfast Harbour Green Teacher of the Year Award, 2010.

With entries closing on October 22, pupils across north Down and Ards can enter, by telling Action Renewables, in no more than 100 words, how their teacher educates children about ‘green’ issues.

Six finalists and their classes will be invited to take part in a fun challenge day at W5 on November 24, when the winner will be named, netting their class tickets for the “Snowman” at the Waterfront Hall. There are lots of runner up prizes too.

Send entries to ‘Belfast Harbour Green Teacher of the Year 2010’, Action Renewables, The Innovation Centre, NI Science Park, Queen’s Road, BT3 9DT or email
