All canines great and small are set to converge on the S13 site on the Boucher Road this weekend for Belfast's first urban dog park.
Doggy Dynamos will be in place for one weekend only, but organisers are hoping to make it a permanent fixture.
It includes a dog agility course, stalls selling canine couture and cuisine, and there will also be pampering for pooches with mini grooming, massage and physiotherapy to release any four-legged tensions. A veterinary team will help out with any canine health problems.
Andrea McKernon of Doggy Dynamos said: "The focus is on fun for dogs, socialisation for humans, so owners can have a chat over a coffee and a bite to eat and simply enjoy the happiness that shines from our dogs. Owners can seek out advice from each other and the professionals taking part. We hope to see a permanent dog park in the city, so we'll be asking dog families to sign a petition."
The fun park will be open at the former B&Q site on Boucher Road today and tomorrow from noon to 4pm. Entry is priced at £5 for adults, £3 for OAPs and students, while the unemployed and children go free.
