It's three cheers for Marie Curie walks

Ulster Rockettes, who entertain Ulster Rugby fans at Ravenhill, put on their dancing shoes yesterday to help launch Marie Curie Cancer Care's Walk Ten - a series of 10K evening walk events being held at 20 spectacular venues across the UK throughout the summer.

In Northern Ireland, Marie Curie Cancer Care is holding Walk Ten events at Stormont Estate, Belfast, on Friday, September 2 and the Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh, on Friday, August 19. The walks start at 6pm and close with activities such as fireworks and live music in celebration of the work of Marie Curie Nurses.

Registration is £10 per person (children go free) but everyone is encouraged to raise as much as possible to support Marie Curie Cancer Care.
