Jewelery and cash stolen in Belfast burglary spree

Cash, a diamond ring and a Canadian Maple Leaf gold coin were among the items stolen during a burglary spree in Belfast.

Four burglaries were committed at houses in the Kings Road, Kingsway Park, North Sperrin and Abbey Gardens areas of the city on Tuesday.

All of the burglaries were reported between 7am and 7.30pm and involved the properties being ransacked.

Both sterling and euros were taken, as well as a sapphire ring with two diamonds, two necklaces and a bracelet.

Police believe all the burglaries are linked and have appealed for anyone with any information to contact them on 101, quoting references 1432, 1546, 1628 and 1715 of 05/11/19.
