A man in his 50s has died after a two-vehicle collision in Kesh, Co Fermanagh.

Emergency services were called to the scene, near Irvinestown, at around 6pm.

A PSNI spokesman said: "A man in his 50s has died as a result of a RTC on the Manoo Rd, Kesh this evening. The road remains closed."

A woman, injured in the accident, is described as being in a stable condition.

DUP councillor for Erne North David Mahon said: "Devastated to learn that another life has been taken on Fermanagh roads. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time."

Police have asked for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
