Knife gang menace elderly man at house in Moira

An elderly man has been threatened with a knife during an aggravated burglary of his house in Moira.

Three men entered the premises on the Lisnabilla Road, shortly before 7pm on Tuesday and demanded money.

A sum of cash was taken before the men made off towards the Airport Road area in a silver Renault Megane.

Police said that although the man was not injured, he was left badly shaken and that enquiries are continuing.
