Knife-wielding gang attack man during Belfast robbery

A 29-year-old man has been attacked by a knife-wielding gang during a robbery in Belfast.

The victim was attacked by three men at public toilets in the Samuel Street area on Monday afternoon.

The group - one of whom was carrying a knife - assaulted the man before stealing cash and his mobile phone.

One of the attackers is said to be 17-18 years old, of slim build, approximately 5' 8" tall, short dark hair with some curls on fringe.

He was wearing a light grey coloured hooded top and grey coloured track bottoms.

The second said to be 18-19 years old, of slim build, approximately 5' 8" tall, short dirty fair hair.

He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top and dark coloured baggy track bottoms.

The third is described as being 19-20 years old, of slim build, approximately 5' 8" tall and had short dark brown hair.

Police have appealed for information.
