Larne house attacked twice in a week

Paint has been thrown over the front of a house during an attack by masked men – the second such attack on the same property in a week.

Four windows were also smashed at the front of the house in Greenland Parade, Larne, at around 3am yesterday.

Two women and a man, who were in the house at the time, escaped unhurt.

Locals said the house was attacked by men armed with baseball bats and a hammer the previous Saturday, when a gang of three men damaged the front door and a window.

Police have not commented on a motive for the attacks.
