A life-saving defibrillator machine has been stolen from outside a shop in Newtownards.
The piece of equipment had been hanging on a wall outside, and police are examining CCTV footage to identify those involved.
A spokesperson for PSNI Ards has asked residents in the local area to be on the lookout in case it has been discarded nearby.
A defibrillator is used to give a high-energy shock to the heart through the chest wall to someone who is in cardiac arrest.
