The accident happened on the A3 Cavan Road, near Newtownbutler.

A number of serious road accidents have happened across Northern Ireland in recent days.

A man in his 40s was killed and two others were injured in a smash on the Clooney Road in Londonderry during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Last Thursday, 23-year-old Michael Cusick from the Belfast area was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Crumlin in Co Antrim.

The figure of 44 deaths on the roads so far in 2016 is less than figures for the same period during the previous two years.
