A pensioner has died following a road crash in Lisburn.
The accident happened at 10.30am in the Warren Gardens area of the city.
A 71-year-old man died following the incident.
Police have said that he was the driver of the car involved.
The narrow residential street where the crash took place remained closed for most of the day yesterday while the PSNI conducted an investigation into the cause of the incident.
The victim had by last night not yet been named by the authorities.
It is understood that a post-mortem examination is due to take place.
There have been 32 deaths on Northern Ireland's roads so far this year, with the most recent being the first fatality during this month.
The overall number is down on the equivalent figure for this time last year, which was 37, and is also smaller than it was at this stage in 2015 (41).
