Little Theo wants to finally find a home for life this Christmas

By Staff Reporter

Could you give Theodore the collie cross the Christmas miracle of a loving home?

Adorable eight-month-old Theo is hoping it'll be third time lucky in finding his forever home.

He was lucky once when he and his brothers and sister were rescued by Assisi animal sanctuary as six-week-old puppies and lucky again when he was adopted by a family, but unfortunately that didn't work out, as they changed their minds.

At the moment Theo is living with a foster family and although this is better for him, it's still far from ideal.

His fosterer Pam explains: "I first had Theo and his siblings when they were very young puppies, so once I heard that he was needing to be re-homed again, I knew we would provide that stop-gap love and attention and some necessary training.

She added: "He has been diagnosed with epilepsy, so he'll need a little extra medical attention and help.

"He's such a lovable pup, but with his hard start in life he's going to need firm boundaries, continued training and a home which has experienced dog owners."

If you would be interested in giving Theo a place in your family, please contact the Assisi sanctuary on 028 9181 2622.
