Liverpool coroner appeals for Darina Cara O'Neill next of kin in Northern Ireland

By Steven Alexander

A coroner in England has appealed for help from the public in Northern Ireland to trace the family of a woman who died suddenly in Liverpool.

The Liverpool and Wirral Coroner's Office is asking for the family of Darina Cara O'Neill (45) to come forward. She passed away on Wednesday, June 28. She is believed to have family in Liverpool and Northern Ireland.

There were no suspicious circumstances, although her death at her home in the Sefton Park area has been described as sudden and unexpected.

A spokesman for the coroner said a post-mortem had been carried out, but he could not comment on the cause of death.

It is understood Ms O'Neill lived on her own and was not working. Neighbours believe her mother, who may suffer from dementia, and a brother live in Northern Ireland.

Anyone who can help the coroner to trace Ms O'Neill's next of kin can call 0151 225 5068 or email
