Local duo out to sparkle at Dublin Show
Two of Northern Ireland's top equestrian stars are participating in this year's Dublin Horse Show.
One of the biggest events of its kind, the horse show, held in the RDS, will see 1,600 horses compete across 130 competitions and classes over the next five days, starting today.
Co Down rider Rachel Moore, from Ballynahinch, is taking part with her horse Morrows Golden Gavel, along with Co Antrim's Kathryn Knox, from Broughshane, who is competing with her horse Seamus.
First held in 1864, the show, which each year welcomes thousands of people from across the Ireland and beyond, will finish on Sunday.
Before then, the event will welcome special guest, Irish President Michael D Higgins, who will present The Aga Khan Trophy on Friday.
