A group of masked men attempted a rob a commercial premises in south Belfast on Friday.

Police are appealing for information after the incident near the junction of Apollo Road, off the Boucher Road.

It was reported around 4.45pm on Friday October 4 that three masked men wearing tracksuit bottoms, hooded tops with their faces masked went to the front door of the premises and attempted to gain entry.

The door was locked and they were unable to enter. The men then got into a Grey Fiat car with no licence plates and made off along the Boucher Road in the direction of Broadway.

A PSNI spokesman appealed for anyone with information to come to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 1409 of 04/10/19," he said.
