A 21-year-old man is in a critical condition after his car collided with a tree in Armagh.

The serious road crash happened on the Keady Road in the early hours of Sunday November 30.

Shortly before 3am a passing bus driver reported that a white Vauxhall Corsa had left the Keady Road and collided with a tree close to the Ballyard junction.

The 21-year-old male driver of the car was taken to hospital where his condition is now described as critical.

Inspector Philip McCullough said: "At this time we believe the Corsa was the only vehicle involved.

"It is vital that if anyone witnessed the collision or saw the Corsa on the Keady Road prior to the collision, that they come forward and speak to police. The number to call is 101.”
