A 36-year-old man has been reported to prosecutors over the brutal knife killing of Ian Ogle in east Belfast at the beginning of this year.

Loyalist community worker and father-of-two Mr Ogle (45) was murdered by a group of UVF members near his home in Cluan Place, off the Albertbridge Road, on January 27.

The victim was stabbed 11 times in the back and suffered a fractured skull.

The 36-year-old was previously arrested by police on suspicion of the murder.

Police have now reported him to the Public Prosecution Service.

Three men have already been charged with Mr Ogle's murder.
